Welcome to Capital Walkers, the friendly London Ramblers group for people aged 40+. We walk every weekend and usually at least once during the week.
A narrated walk with descriptions for the London Blind Ramblers of the various sites we visit. We will start at Blackfriars Station and visit the Apothecaries Hall then Playhouse Yard ( where Shakespeare brought a house for his daughter) . We will then visit the remains of the Blackfriars monastery before heading to the Kings Closet. We will pass St Pauls Cathedral, Postmans Park plus numerous other places of interest before finishing at Tower Hill.
We will break for lunch at the Barbican

If you would be willing to lead one of the London Blind Ramblers please email chair@capitalwalkers.org.uk. Hopefully we will have more guides than Blind Ramblers , in which case we will divide and split the time to ensure everyone willing has a chance to guide. Therefore it will mean you will not need to guide all day.
The finishing time is an estimate only and will be dependent on a number of factors, such as, weather, the speed at which the group walks and the number of breaks taken
