We meet under the clock at Waterloo Station. Our walk takes us on a West London circuit stopping at a range of buildings constructed in the 1920’s and 1930’s. We will look at social housing, public buildings and top end residential. We will exploit the open spaces where we can but will be on street through the Mayfair, Bond Street and Oxford Street areas.
No shopping stops will be permitted.
Lunch will be taken in Regents Park. Packed lunch is recommended however snacks and hot drinks are available at the lunch stop.
Exit points with bus and tube connections are available everywhere.
Lavatory facilities are available at the start at Waterloo station but those on the way are likely to charge 20p.
No dogs.
Walking shoes should be fine.
No booking required.
The finishing time is an estimate only and will be dependent on several factors such as, weather, the speed at which the group walks and the number of breaks taken.
