A walk visiting 4 villages in or above the Mole Valley.
Our walk starts at Box Hill and Westhumble station and we follow the river Mole through the villages of Brockham, Betchworth and Buckland.
A delightful mixture of Bridleways, riverside paths and quiet country lanes take us east to Buckland where we have a picnic lunch. Village shop but no pub.
We ascend the escarpment passing old quarries and then continue on the top of the Downs, with great views, towards Box Hill. We descend an airey slope back to the river and return to the station.
