A short circular Christmas Day walk along established footpaths. There is something here for everyone. From the ascent out of Lewisham to green spaces at Blackheath, Point Hill and Greenwich Park before descending into Greenwich to the River Thames and heading west to the confluence of the River Ravensbourne and the Thames. Thereafter, we continue for a short distance to Deptford Green for St Nicholas before making our way along Historic Creekside to Deptford.
We enter Brookmill Park with its river-path and bird life to complete the circuit at Lewisham.
You can make this your very own walk with the option to leave at any point - making it as short or as long as you wish.
We will meet in front of Lewisham DLR STATION. Please note, there is no public transport. However, free street parking should be available on some roads within the vicinity.
Please check.
No booking required. Neither is it necessary to txt or email beforehand to join the walk.
No dogs.
The finishing time is an estimate only and will be dependent on a number of factors, such as the weather, the speed at which the group walks and the number of stops made along the way.
