The walk will start from the forecourt outside Kingston Station. We will walk up to Richmond Park and cross the Park through the Isabella Plantation to reach Ham Gate. We cross Ham Common to reach and cross the River Thames at Teddington Lock. From the River we walk up through Teddington to reach Bushy Park where lunch will be taken in the Pheasantry. After lunch we will cross and exit the Park and walk through Hampton Court Park to rejoin the River and follow this back to Kingston.
The walk will encompass riverside, common land, parkland, lakeside and some suburban walking.
We may or may not see any deer but there should be ducks.
Packed lunch is recommended however snacks and hot drinks are available at the lunch stop.
Lavatory facilities are available 45 minutes into the walk in Richmond Park and at the lunch stop
Drop out points are available at Teddington Station in the morning and Hampton Court Station in the afternoon.
No booking required.
No dogs.
Walking shoes should be fine.
