A linear walk from Crystal Palace to Brockley.
This walks incorporates sections of the Capital Ring, Green Chain Walk and local trails linked by short sections of roadways.
We go through parks, woods, gardens and fields. There are hilly sections along the trail offering outstanding views at the Horniman Gardens, One Tree Hill, Blyth Hill Fields and Hilly Fields.
This walk will be at a brisk pace within the range of three miles per hour. There are several exit points (eg. Forest Hill, Honor Oak Park and Ladywell) should you wish to make this a shorter hike.
Please bring a packed lunch.
No dogs.
Travel: Start at Crystal Palace Rail Station which is served by the Windrush Line and National Rail with a direct service from London Bridge and London Victoria.
Use travel planner - eg. Tfl; City mapper, etc., to plan your journey. The start and end stations are within the Oyster/Contactless/ Freedom Pass zones.
No booking required. Just turn up to join the walk.
The finishing time is an estimate only and will be dependent on a number of factors such as, weather, the speed at which the group walks and the number of breaks taken.
