Welcome to Capital Walkers, the friendly London Ramblers group for people aged 40+. We walk every weekend and usually at least once during the week.
A South London trail through parks, fields and woods. We follow the Riverpool Walkway to Cator Park; then continue to Churchfields Recreation Ground; Maberley Playing Fields; South Norwood Country Park; Ashburton Playing Fields; Pinewoods; Heathfield; Addington Hills; Lloyd Park; Park Hill Recreation Ground before ending at East Croydon Railway Station. There is some road walking which is kept to a minimum and is mainly on quiet back roads. Some paths will be muddy. There are several drop out point along the way for trains, trams and buses.
Please bring a packed lunch.

Travel - Take the 10:05 Train from London Charing Cross (London Bridge 10:15; Lewisham 10:24; Catford Bridge 10:29) arrives Lower Sydenham 10:32.
Use Oyster, Contactless, Freedom Pass.
