This varied walk takes us past the medieval motte and bailey Tonbridge Castle. Through low-lying areas of parkland, farm fields, paddocks, orchards and rivers. Walking along parts of the Medway Valley, Weald Way, River Medway around Tonbridge. This includes the opportunity to visit the unique All Saints' Church, Tudeley. This Church is remarkable because its twelve stained glass windows were all designed by the great 20 C Russian artist, Marc Chagall. We will be spending an hour in the Church and be given a guided guided tour. There is an expected donation of £3 either cash or card to pay towards the upkeep of the Church as we are a group visiting. The footpaths are overgrown in places but the views compensate for this.
No drop outs due to infrequent bus service.
