A Walk with Good Manors

A very local walk starting from the Bell-on-the-Common in Broughton Gifford.  After exploring the village with its manor, it is cross country to Little Chalfield and Great Chalfield and another manor, before winding our way back to the Bell via an impressive tree-lined avenue and one of the largest commons in Wiltshire.  Nothing spectacular but simply a pleasant pastoral excursion, so have Beethoven’s 6th Symphony buzzing around in your head!  Bring snack.
