Overview

From the car park we descend and follow the Old Manaton Road through Houndtor Woods then climb up to the picturescue hamlet of Water.  We the descend steeply through woods to Foxworthy where we cross the river and climb up to Hunter’s Tor with fine views over Lustleigh Cleave.  A gentle descent follows past Sharpitor and down to Hisley Bridge where we cross the river and return to the start.

Will be wet underfoot and very muddy in places.
