A circular walk starting from the Whiteworks Road carpark – walking along the Devonport Leat to turn off before Nun’s Cross and walk over to Childe’s Tomb (under Fox Tor). Follow the crosses up Ter Hill and over to Skir Leat. Find another couple crosses to get to Hexworthy. Walk up behind the Forest Inn to find the Dartmoor Way, turn off West and return to Whiteworks on the other side of the River This walk is mostly across open moorland and can be boggy in places.
