Overview

Drewston Wood, Fingle Bridge, Whiddon Deer Park, Dogmarsh Bridge, lanes to Rushord Mill, then using the Two Moors Way, Dogmarsh Bridge, Hunter’s Tor, Castle Drogo (afternoon tea stop), Sharp Tor, and return to Drewsteignton.

The walk will be on well-used footpaths, beside the dramatic River Teign, with some woodland walking. There will be a couple of sections of lane walk on the route. The walk does include a strenuous descent and an ascent into the Teign Valley, the rest of the route following the River Teign is easy walking. Depending upon arrival time we may have a tea stop at the NT café at Castle Drogo.
