Overview

A linear walk following part of the Boniface Trail, on quiet lanes and field paths. We head north from the village to Sweetham then follow footpaths along the edge of the orchards to Shute and Efford from where we head back towards Shobrooke village.  We take a look at the Holy Well and Shobrooke church. The route takes us down through Shobrooke Park with views across the lake and the distant hills, then we cross the river and finish at Crediton market place where there are many places for refreshments!  Return buses to Exeter and Newton St Cyres are 2 or 3 times an hour.
