LOWER WALKHAM VALLEY AND DOUBLE WATERS

Please note that the start location for this walk has been amended from that originally published, revised details are below.

The walk will now pass under the magpie Viaduct, ascend to the West Devon Way, which will will follow eastwards, before descending to Grenofen Bridge, where we may go a short distance down the river to look at the dykes which create waterfalls in the river and the West Down mine chimney. We will then return to Grenofen Bridge, before returning by walking beside the River Walkham, under Gem Bridge and back to Bedford bridge car park.

We will probably visit a pub/café after the walk.
