We will catch the 10:35 bus (service 128) from Helmsley Market Place for the 10 minute journey to Wombleton village. Walking across a paddock then along a green lane, we'll reach Nawton after about 1 mile where we will pause for a drinks stop in the pocket park. Following a mixture of field and woodland paths, the route then crosses 4 wooded valleys and passes through the picturesque hamlet of Pockley. We will stop for picnic along the walk before getting back to Helmsley.
There are 6 stiles along the route.
Although there are car parking spaces on the Market Place, they are short-stay only. Please park in the long-stay Cleveland Way car park (pay&display) or elsewhere on-street (free). Please allow enough time to park and walk to the bus stop as the bus won't wait!
