Overview

This walk follows the Ridgeway path over Ivinghoe Beacon to the Ashridge Woods and Visitors Centre before returning to Tring Station via Aldbury Village. There are far reaching views over the Vale of Aylesbury from the path. The walk passes through both interesting chalk landscapes as well as woodland.

Train: 

The 9.39 train from London Euston arrives 10.21 at Tring Station. It is direct service from Euston to Tring.

Lunch:

Picnic lunch at the Ashridge Visitors Centre where teas and coffee are available.

Toilets:

There are no toilets at Tring Railway Station so please use toilets on the train before arrival. Toilets are available at the Ashridge Visitors Centre.
