Overview

This is a moderate to brisk paced walk.  We follow the River Lea from near its source though parkland before ascending to Warden Hill and Galley Hill for good views. We then make our way to the spectacular Barton Hills for a steep descent into Barton-Le-Clay (consider using walking poles). After lunch we continue to Harlington over a mixture of fields and sloping meadows.
(Walkers Club walk #229)

Toilets: Please use toilets on the train, there are none on the walk.

Lunch: Picnic at Barton-le-Clay at about 1:30.
