A lovely Chilterns circular walk with some beautiful views. We start the walk through pleasant countryside along the valley. Then join the Ridgeway and climb Lodge Hill. There are some stunning views. We continue to the picturesque village of Bledlow. In the village there is a hidden gem Lyde Garden, the beautiful Holy Trinity church and the Lions pub. We stop here for lunch. Please bring a packed lunch.
After lunch there is the steep ascent up Chinnor Hill. There are some spectacular views at the top. We continue through Radnage and Bledlow Ridge before going back along the valley to Saunderton.
Although this walk is classified as moderate with mainly gentle gradients, it is challenging in places and there are some steep hills. Please consider if going on the walk.
Travel: Take the 09.53 from Marylebone, arrives Saunderton 10.52. There is one train an hour back to London.
Please note the lunch stop is about 4.3 miles into the walk, so we will have another 6.4 miles after lunch.
