Meet at Quarry Moor Nature Reserve car park on the southern end of the Ripon bypass to catch the 36 bus to Ripely from the bus stop near Morrisons so don’t forget your bus pass! Return to Ripon from Ripley on the 36 bus. This walk is offered to reduce our carbon footprint & to reduce our fuel consumption given the price of fuel in the current world climate.
The Nidderdale Greenway is a 4-mile (each way) scenic, traffic-free, and largely flat path connecting Ripley to Harrogate. Built on a former railway line, it features the impressive Nidd Gorge Viaduct, offering views of woodland and wildflowers.
