This walk starts from Sutton Bank car park where the fee is £6.00. It encompasses Gormire Lake and Southwoods. There is a steep descent where walking poles or sticks are desirable. Very good views are facilitated (if no fog). The terrain is woodland and grassland while underfoot the going is mainly good with bits of poorer quality providing interest.
Car parking available in the Sutton Bank car park (£6.00). Meet at the Visitor Centre where there are toilets and refreshments
