Overview

Starting from Bowes village hall car park we walk west through the village to Clint house and pass over fields and  several stone stiles to stoney keld ,to access Rovock open  moor track to pasture end and (pennine way).continue under A66 subway to gods Bridge follow river Greta on good track over a couple of foot. Bridges back to Bowes passing castle.fields could be soft under foot the moor has the odd  marsh to go around, all tracks and moor were passable.

 We pass through an old army camp we have Fine moorland views , local bird life a pleasant hike to be had.
