Overview

Starting at Hackney Wick station we follow the river Lea to Lea Bridge rd and then cut across to Stoke Newington. There will be time for a brief look round Abney Park cemetery before moving on to Clissold Park for a toilet stop. From Clissold Park it is but a short hop to Finsbury Park where we will have lunch. A packed lunch is advised but there is a cafe, toilets and a playground. After lunch we will take the disused railway line to Highgate which we cross the top of on our way to Hampstead Heath. We cross Hampstead Heath by way of Parliament Hill before finishing the walk at Hampstead Heath station
