Overview

This mid-Devon walk gives far-reaching views of the Exe estuary and the Blackdown hills from the highest points.  There are also glimpses of the local industrial heritage with the paper mills at Hele and Silverton. The route comprises quiet rural lanes, tracks and fields with an occasional steep ascent; the paths can be muddy in places, especially after wet weather.
