Welcome to Capital Walkers, the friendly London Ramblers group for people aged 40+. We walk every weekend and usually at least once during the week.
A linear walk through rolling countryside between Tring and Berkhamstead. Route goes along edge of Tring park, through Cholesbury and by Lye Green before descending into Berkhamstead. Along the way are earthworks, some woods and verdant valleys. Route can be muddy. Walk starts at Tring station and ends at Berkhamstead station.
Pub and toilets in Cholesbury. No other facilities along route.
No facilities or toilets at Tring station. Paid parking at Tring Station. Pubs and restaurants in Berkhamstead. Berkhamstead station is about 1km from high street.
