Overview

From Bowes Museum we head to Flatts Wood, making our way to Stainton and on to Broomielaw, Sledwich Hall to pick up the path above the River Tees. Walking on towards Egglestone Abbey Bridge, Demesnes and back to Bowes Museum. Walking on good paths and tracks some stiles some verge walking but safe. A good variety of views. A long walk but fairy easy. An earlier start so we make use of the museum cafe.
