Overview

An excellent springtime walk from the village of Thornton le Dale. From the car park we walk past the Church and along Outgang Lane before heading north into the forest and the west side of the valley to the Visitor Centre at Low Dalby. The return is along the edge of Dalby Beck through woodland and over fields to Ellerburn and Thornton Mill. Forest tracks, field paths and a short road walk.
