2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the much-loved Thames Path National Trail. To celebrate, we are participating in a relay along the entire length of the trail . This walk forms part of the anniversary celebrations, highlighting one of the most iconic urban sections of the trail.
This scenic riverside walk follows a lively stretch of the Thames Path along the south bank of the River Thames, linking historic landmarks, modern architecture and some of London’s most famous riverside views.
Starting at Battersea Power Station, the route continues along the vibrant South Bank, passing beneath Vauxhall Bridge and offering views towards Westminster. Further highlights include the riverside cultural quarter around the London Eye and Royal Festival Hall, before continuing through one of London’s most popular riverside walking areas.
The walk finishes beside the impressive Tate Modern, ending at the pedestrian Millennium Bridge, where there are excellent views across the river to St Paul’s Cathedral.
