Welcome to Capital Walkers, the friendly London Ramblers group for people aged 40+. We walk every weekend and usually at least once during the week.
We will start at Norbiton Station, walk across to the Kingston Gate of Richmond Park and then walk up the East side of the Park to Roehampton Gate. Leaving the Park we will walk down to Putney Embankment via Palewell Park and Putney Common and then cross the bridge for a lunch stop at Fulham Palace. After lunch we follow the North bank of the River Thames to reach Barnes Railway Bridge where we cross the river and follow the back alleys of Barnes to finish at Barnes Station.
Packed lunch is recommended however snacks and hot drinks are available at the lunch stop.
Lavatory facilities are available an hour into the walk in Richmond Park and at the lunch stop
Drop out points are available at Barnes and Putney Bridge Stations in the morning and at Hammersmith Station in the afternoon.
No booking required
Walking shoes should be fine.

09.57 from London Waterloo, 10.00 at Vauxhall, 10.05 at Clapham Junction and 10.13 at Wimbledon arrives at Norbiton at 10.22.
Meet under the station building canopy on the North side of the station in the forecourt facing Coombe Road.
Trains to stations on the lines to London Waterloo, Richmond or Hounslow.
