We are sad to say Ramblers group walks are suspended from Thursday 5 November until Wednesday 2 December, in accordance with the latest UK government guidelines.
According to government guidance you may continue to walk outdoors for exercise with the people you live with, your support bubble, or one person from another household. Walkers in England should however be mindful of different restrictions in other nations and not travel to Scotland and Wales.
Other in-person Ramblers group activities such as training, social events and path maintenance working groups are also cancelled. Activities such as AGMs will be held online.

Our areas help local people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. Areas help look after paths and green spaces, open up new places to explore and act as the leading voice on walking matters near you.
They also support our local groups to organise regular walks led by local experts – a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness.
Welcome to the Berkshire Area Ramblers Groups...
This website is intended to be a central location for Berkshire ramblers to find interesting walks, not necessarily with their own groups.
If you’re not a member yet: have a look around, find a walk to suit you and come out with us.
Berkshire Area Groups
We have 9 Berkshire Area groups: 7 traditional groups covering the county; a 20s & 30s group and a flexi group – something for everybody!
Below are links to the groups' websites and a little more information about them.
All the groups walk over their own patch, and further afield, with walks ranging from three or four miles to over fifteen. If you are interested in walking in a particular area, the closest group to that area is probably the one to try first, but don’t worry if you don’t find the right group at first – once you’re a member of the Ramblers, you can walk with any group!
Come along and join us!
